The Good Home Taranaki Off-Road Half Marathon

The Good Home Taranaki Off-Road Half Marathon Festival will be back in 2024! Make sure to save the date  of Saturday January 13th and get ready for some trail fun around Lake Mangamahoe. For 2024 we have the same great venue, stunning picturesque? course and an awesome atmosphere!

The event hub is situated only 10 minutes drive from New Plymouth and on the day you have the choice of three distances which are all based on the trails around Lake Mangamahoe. 

• The Good Home Off-Road Half Marathon course winds around a breathtaking 21km loop of the stunning Lake Mangamahoe. Runners will take in all the tracks, including the awesome single file mountain bike tracks which will be closed of to the runners on the day of the event. 
• The Frontrunner Quarter Marathon is a shorter distance (10km total) but still an epic challange. This route will take in a mix of muddy and rocky trail terrain and some sharp climbs to test the legs 
• The Body Logic 5km is a perfect introduction to trail running and a great event for all the family. 
• WR Phillips Subaru Taranaki Half Marathon Team Relay why not partner up with your running or walking buddy and take on the half together! Two runners/walkers per team you just need to filp a coin to see who will take on which half of the course.
